The Arab Organization for Administrative Development, affiliated with the League of Arab States, will organize the "Digital Transformation and its Role in Improving Institutional Performance and Citizen Service" Forum from July 29 - 31, in the Turkish city of Istanbul. The organization said, in a statement on Tuesday, that the Forum aims to learn about the concept of digital transformation and its impact on institutional performance and citizen service. It also features global trends and recent developments in this field, in addition to identifying the most important challenges of digital transformation and ways to overcome them. The Forum addresses several topics, including the tools and techniques used in the digital transformation process, how to improve the performance of institutions through information and communications technology, as well as digitization and digital innovations, and how to enhance citizens interaction with government services and institutions through them. An elite group of specia lized experts, consultants, deputy ministers, and those responsible for information technology and digital transformation departments will participate in the forum, in addition to heads of sectors and departments in various ministries, government and private institutions, and participants in developing plans and implementing digital transformation initiatives in institutions.
