Manama, The speakers of Arab legislative councils and parliaments participating in the sixth Arab Parliament Conference have expressed their confidence in the ability of Arab leaders to deal with the current challenges and crises with wisdom, in a way that would contribute to strengthening Arab joint solidarity and action in all fields, maintaining Arab countries' security and stability, protecting their sovereignty and capabilities and enhancing their comprehensive development achievements. The stances were included in the communiqué of the sixth Conference of the Arab Parliament, read by Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, the Arab Parliament Speaker. The participants commended the tremendous efforts exerted by Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, along with the Secretariat General of the Arab League, to ensure the success of the 33rd Arab Summit, set to be hosted by the Kingdom o f Bahrain on May 16. They stressed the importance of stepping up Arab parliamentary cooperation and coordination, as well as harnessing all tools of parliamentary diplomacy to support the priorities and policies adopted by Arab leaders. They affirmed their support for the outcomes of the 33rd Arab Summit, as they will strengthen Arab fraternal partnership and complementarity in reaching comprehensive and peaceful solutions to the current crises and challenges, particularly the Palestinian cause, by expressing the Arab peoples' aspirations for unity, security, stability, peace and sustainable development.
