Arsenal Sign Eze from Crystal Palace

London: Arsenal announced Saturday the signing of forward Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace during the current summer transfer window. In a statement, the club confirmed that Eze, 27, has agreed to a long-term contract. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to Qatar News Agency, Eze began his footballing journey in Arsenal's youth academy before emerging as one of the Premier League's most dynamic attacking talents. He joined Queens Park Rangers in 2016 and enjoyed a breakout spell between 2019 and 2021, earning the club's Player of the Season honors. He moved to Crystal Palace in 2020 and made his senior debut for England in 2023. Since then, he has earned 11 international caps and played a key role in England's Euro 2024 squad.

Arsenal, who finished second last season with 74 points-ten behind champions Liverpool-are aiming to capture the Premier League title this year.
