Tunis: The Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) took part in the 45th General Assembly meetings of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), which commenced Wednesday in Tunis, with the participation of representatives of official Arab media organizations, alongside experts and academics. According to Qatar News Agency, the meetings featured a professional dialogue on the role of media in fostering youth-driven innovation across development sectors, as well as the transformations shaping the media landscape in the era of artificial intelligence and influencers. Participants stressed that innovation and technology represent the future of Arab media, as key pillars for advancing and modernizing media messages directed at Arab audiences. They highlighted the growing importance of modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, in enhancing media performance and keeping pace with rapid global changes. Experts underlined the need to develop radio and television training through advanced infrastructure, in cluding fully equipped studios and modern facilities, while maintaining the core values of Arab media rooted in quality content and credibility. The 45th General Assembly of ASBU also re-elected Saudi Arabia's Mohammed Al Harthi as President of the Union. (QNA)
