Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, affirmed that the success of the Ashoora commemoration reiterates Bahrain's keenness on supporting, and respecting freedoms and beliefs, as one of the firm national constants, in line with the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasised that Bahrain's civilised approach, characterised by respect for religious freedoms and practices in a safe and tranquil environment, confirms the continuous interest to strengthen community solidarity and uphold the principles of tolerance and peaceful coexistence. He highlighted the royal support and continuous support for the religious events in the Kingdom. He praised the efforts of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, in providing all means of security and safety, enforcing th e law, continuing the success of the annual Ashoora commemoration, and the role of the concerned institutions. He expressed appreciation for the responsible cooperation between all institutions and bodies, and the active community partnership, which operates under the state of law and institutions.
