Doha: September 19 - The Asian Handball Federation has announced the schedule of matches for the 27th Asian Clubs League Champions Championship for men's handball, which qualifies for the World Clubs Championship for Continental Champions /Super Globe 2025/. Al Rayyan Club will host the tournament from November 12 to 23 at the Qatar Handball Federation Hall in Duhail. The tournament will be held according to the new system approved by the Asian Federation, with the participation of 10 teams divided into two groups, the first of which includes Al Rayyan, the tournament host, Kuwait SC, Sharjah SC, Al Shabab SC, and Al Karkh SC, while the second group includes Al Duhail SC, Al Khaleej SC, Kazma SC, Ahli Sidab SC, and Mes Kerman SC. Al Rayyan will start their journey by meeting Al Shabab of Bahrain on November 12 in Group 1, and will play their second match against Sharjah of the UAE on November 13, and will meet Kuwait SC of Kuwait in their third match on November 16, and will conclude their group stage matc hes on November 17th by facing Al Karkh of Iraq. Al Duhail, the second representative of Qatari handball in the tournament, will open their journey by meeting Ahli Sidab of Oman on November 12 in Group 2, and will play their second match against Kazma of Kuwait on November 14, and will meet Al Khaleej of Saudi Arabia in their third match on November 16, and will conclude their group stage matches on November 17 by facing Mes Kerman of Iran. The Asian Men's Handball Clubs League Championship will be held in Doha for the fifth time, after hosting it in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016. Qatari handball has a rich history in the tournament, as Al Sadd Club holds the record for the number of times it has won the title with five championships. Source: Qatar News Agency
