The draw for the 10th Asian Junior Handball Championship, hosted by Jordan from September 3 to 14, which qualifies for the World Championship to be held in Slovenia in 2025, placed the Qatari team in Group C. The draw, which was held Thursday in the Jordanian capital Amman, resulted in the Qatari junior handball team being placed in Group C, along with the teams of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, while Group A includes the teams of Korea, Bahrain and Iraq, Group B includes the teams of Jordan, Japan and India, and Group D includes the teams of Iran, China and Chinese Taipei. The first and second place teams from each group will qualify for the main round, during which the eight qualified teams will be distributed into two groups of four teams in each group, with the first and second place teams qualifying for the semi-finals.
