Grozny, Dr. Khalid Fahad Al Alawi, Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Development at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, led Bahrain's delegation at the Caucasus Investment Forum 2024. The forum, held under the patronage of Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic, drew over 3,000 participants from more than 30 countries. In his speech, Al Alawi said that Bahrain's participation in the forum represents the strong relations between the two countries. He highlighted the outcomes of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's recent visit to the Russian Federation. Al Alawi underscored Bahrain's commitment to further enhancing cooperation with the Chechen Republic across various sectors. He emphasised the importance of enhancing investments through economic cooperation, particularly within the sectors identified in Bahrain's industrial sector strategy (2022-2026). These include pharmaceuticals, the food industry, semiconductors, renewable energy, aluminum manufacturing, and petrochemi cals.
