At Least 11 Killed in Russian Attacks in Eastern Ukraine

Dobropillia: At least 11 people were killed and 30 wounded in Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's eastern city of Dobropillia overnight, Ukrainian Interior Ministry said on Saturday. The ministry reported that Russian forces targeted Dobropillia using ballistic missiles, multiple rockets, and drones, resulting in damage to eight multistory buildings and 30 cars.

According to Qatar News Agency, Dobropillia is located in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, approximately 22 kilometers from the front-line north of the key hub of Pokrovsk. Pokrovsk has been under attack by Russian troops for several weeks. Additionally, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry reported that at least three people were killed and seven injured in a separate drone attack on the Kharkiv region overnight.

The Ukrainian military stated that Russia launched attacks on Ukraine overnight using two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, one Iskander-K cruise missile, and 145 drones. Ukrainian air forces successfully shot down one cruise missile and 79 drones. The military further noted that another 54 drones likely did not reach their targets due to electronic countermeasures.
