Atalanta Appoints Palladino as Head Coach Through 2027

Bergamo: Italian club Atalanta announced the appointment of former Fiorentina manager Raffaele Palladino as head coach of the first team under a contract running through June 30, 2027. In a statement, the club confirmed that Palladino will take over from Croatian coach Ivan Juric, who was dismissed following a string of poor results.

According to Qatar News Agency, Palladino, a former Italian international and 41 years old, began his coaching career with the youth teams at Monza before taking charge of the senior squad in 2022. He led Monza for two seasons in Serie A, then moved to Fiorentina, guiding the team to a sixth-place finish in the Italian league before stepping down in July.

Atalanta had slipped to 13th place in Serie A under Juric, with 13 points after suffering back-to-back defeats at the end of Matchday 11.
