Doha: Qatar Equestrian Federation and Modern Pentathlon (QEFMP) President Badr bin Mohammed Al Darwish will remain in office for a further four years. Al Darwish was re-elected by acclamation for the 2024-2028 term on Tuesday in a QEFMP Assembly that completed its legal quorum with the presence of all members and the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) representative. According to Qatar News Agency, the Assembly also re-elected HE Sheikh Ahmad bin Nooh Al-Thani as Secretary-General, Ali Youssef Al Rumaihi as Assistant Secretary-General, and Ahmed bin Jaber Al Mulla and Amer bin Mohammed Al Humaidi as board members. The attendees approved the minutes of the previous meeting, the 2024-25 season schedule, and the draft fiscal year 2025 budget and reviewed the external auditor report. Highlighting the unwavering support from HE QOC President Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, Al Darwish said the QEFMP would continue efforts for further regional, continental, and international achievements.
