With Syria’s distinctive participation, the 24th edition of Bagdad International Book Fair started Thursday.
The event, attended in Iraq by representatives from 15 Arab and foreign states, involved exhibiting the latest works in literatures, art, history and others.
“Despite all what Syria has been facing of aggressions and conspiracies, the Syrian distinction is still tops the enlightenment and culture scene”, participating Iraqi writers and researches said.
The Syrian works enrich the Show and have a huge impact on the Iraqi reader” they added.
“Through its books and authors, Syria is strongly present in the Iraqi and Arab culture, renewing that deeply rooted humanitarian link through the exhibition today” they stated.
