Youth Affairs Minister Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi attended a ceremony concluding Bahrain's participation in the 34th edition of the Ship for World Youth, in the presence of Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Miyamoto Masayuki.
Delegations from the Kingdom of Bahrain have been participating in the Ship for World Youth’s trip since 1998.
Addressing the ceremony, the minister hailed participants in the Ship for World Youth over the past editions, thanking them for representing the Kingdom of Bahrain and showcasing its culture and longstanding values.
The Ambassador of Japan praised Bahrainis’ participation in the Ship for World Youth, and said, stressing its importance in building bridges of communication.
Vice President of the Ship for World Youth Association Khalid Al-Sheikh delivered a speech in which he praised the support of the Minister of Youth Affairs and the Ambassador of Japan for Bahraini youth.
He stressed the importance of the presence of Bahraini youth delegations on the ship as one of the pioneering programs that develop the relations of world youth.
