Manama, The Ministry of Health underscored Bahrain's commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles, in line with the sustainable development goals and efforts to enhance Arab cooperation to promote healthy lifestyles. Marking Arab Health Day, which is observed annually on September 4, the ministry has organised a series of events and activities, including health awareness campaigns on disease prevention, workshops, seminars on public health best practices, and health screenings at exhibitions and events. This year's theme, "Promoting the One Health Approach," underscored the importance of collective efforts to deliver comprehensive and integrated healthcare across the Arab world. Arab Health Day aims to highlight the accomplishments of member states across various healthcare sectors and highlight key initiatives within the field. It also aims to raise awareness on addressing health challenges facing Arab communities, ultimately contributing to achieving healthcare-related sustainable development goals.
