Rome, Abdulnabi Salman, First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, participated in the 2024 NATO PA Mediterranean and Middle East Special Group (GSM) Seminar, on May 6-8. Salman affirmed that Bahrain is a regional partner actively contributing to achieving stability, enhancing cooperation and advocating for development. He said that Bahrain is an active partner in the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI) as it hosted one of the biggest political consultants in May 2023 and participated in the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). The council's participation in this symposium, which addresses many important regional and international issues, aims to highlight Bahraini parliamentary diplomacy and enrich all discussions on international issues.
