Manama: Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and the President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), the Award ceremony for the 28th Bahrain Quran Grand Price for females winners was held at the Isa Cultural Centre (ICC). The ceremony was organised by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA). Dr. Shaikha Mariam bint Hassan Al Khalifa, the Vice president of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), and Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, the Director General of the Office of the Consort of His Majesty the King, distributed certificates and prizes to the 86 female winners of the competition. The competition is a prominent regional competition that encourages the memorisation and recitation of the Holy Quran, promoting intellectual and educational aspects through Islamic teachings and guidelines.
