Manila, Student Hassan Majeed Aman from Isa Town Secondary Boys School has won the bronze medal in the first International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO) at New Clark City, Philippines. The Olympiad was held from July 31 to August 6, and supported by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, congratulated the student on this international achievement, which reflects the level of talent and creativity in the schools of Bahrain. The minister also expressed his appreciation to the educational specialists and teachers for preparing and training the Bahraini students participating in the competition. The Kingdom's participation in the event reflects the Ministry of Education's commitment to enhancing students' scientific capabilities across all fields of science. This aligns with the ministry's developmental goals and sustainable development objectives, providing a valuable opportunity to advance students' theoretical knowledge and practical experience in scientific events and elevate the kingdom's name in international forums. Bahrain and IAEA have signed the Country Programme Framework (CPF) for 2024-2029 last September. The renewal of this framework enhances Bahrain's benefit from the knowledge support provided by the agency. Source : Bahrain News Agency
