Manama: Bahrain's Defense Force announced that its air defense systems successfully repelled a series of new Iranian attacks that targeted the Kingdom. The attacks were part of what Bahrain describes as a systematic hostile campaign by Iran.

According to Qatar News Agency, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) issued a statement highlighting that the Iranian attacks were specifically targeting civilians within the Kingdom. The BDF emphasized that all military units are currently at the highest level of readiness and are on full defensive alert to ensure the safety and security of the country.

The BDF condemned the deliberate use of missiles and drones by Iran, stating that such actions constitute a clear violation of international humanitarian law. The military urged citizens to remain cautious and advised them to steer clear of any suspicious or unidentified objects that might be remnants of the Iranian attacks. Citizens are encouraged to report such objects to the appropriate authorities without delay.
