Barcelona: Spanish club Barcelona, the current 2024-2025 La Liga champions, announced the renewal of the contract of German coach Hansi Flick until the summer of 2027. This comes after he successfully led the team to a domestic treble (La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup).
According to Qatar News Agency, the club confirmed in a statement on its official account that it had reached an agreement with the 59-year-old German coach to extend his contract until 2027, in recognition of his performance and his return to the podium. Flick led Barcelona to a historic 28th La Liga title in its history, defeating rivals Real Madrid (the record holder with 36 titles). They also eliminated Bayern Munich from the Champions League, reaching the semi-finals before being eliminated by Inter Milan.
