Barcelona Overpowers Kashiwa Reysol with Commanding 5-1 Victory in Alkass International Cup

Barcelona: Barcelona defeated Kashiwa Reysol 5-1 in their match Thursday at Mansour Muftah Stadium, as part of the second round of Group B matches in the 11th edition of the Alkass International Cup.

According to Qatar News Agency, Barcelona's goals were scored by Unai Balmon, who netted twice in the 24th and 65th minutes, accompanied by an own goal by Amon Sadakyo in the 43rd minute. Oscar added another goal in the 47th minute, and Ruslan Hernando sealed the victory with a penalty kick in the 52nd minute. Riko Anada managed to score Kashiwa's lone goal in the 46th minute.

Barcelona now leads the group with 4 points, following their 3-3 draw against Paris Saint-Germain in the first round. Kashiwa remains in second place with 3 points after a 2-1 victory over Vietnam's BVF Academy.

In another Group B contest, Paris Saint-Germain and Vietnam's BVF Academy finished with a 1-1 draw. The Vietnamese team took an early lead through Phuang Thiam in the second minute, but Paris Saint-Germain equalized in the 21st minute when Phuong Mang scored an own goal.

With this result, Paris Saint-Germain moved up to third place with two points, while BVF Academy earned their first point, ranking them fourth in the group.

The tournament continues on Friday, featuring two matches in Group A. The first match will see Aspire Academy face Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel, while the second match will pit Morocco's Mohammed VI Academy against Scottish club Rangers.
