Barcelona: Barcelona announced on Sunday the signing of Egyptian striker Hamza Abdelkarim from Al Ahly’s youth team on loan until the end of the current season, with an option to buy.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Catalan club said on its official social media accounts that the agreement with Al Ahly runs until June 30, 2026, and includes a clause giving Barcelona the right to make the transfer permanent once the loan expires.

Abdelkarim, 18, becomes the first Egyptian player to join Barcelona’s senior football squad.
