Barcelona: Defending champions Barcelona cruised to a 4-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao on Saturday night at Camp Nou in the 13th round of Spain's La Liga.

According to Qatar News Agency, Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring in the fourth minute, before Ferran Torres struck twice (45+3, 90+1) and Fermin Lopez added another in the 48th.

The match marked Barcelona's first game at their iconic stadium since May 2023, after a two-and-a-half-year closure for renovations to expand capacity to 105,000. The club celebrated its return with fireworks before and after the match, as more than 45,000 fans filled the three open stands. Barcelona hopes to open additional seating by 2026 and reach full capacity next season.

With the win, Barcelona moved level on 31 points with archrival Real Madrid at the top of the table, edging ahead on goal difference. Madrid face Elche away on Sunday. Athletic Bilbao remain eighth with 17 points.
