Manama, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), met today with senior BDF officers, in the presence of Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs. The Commander-in-Chief listened to a briefing on the BDF's ongoing development and modernisation efforts. The Commander-in-Chief emphasised that, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, the BDF continues to equip its forces with the latest military systems. This aims to maintain high combat and administrative readiness, enabling the BDF to fulfil its duties effectively.
