Brussels: Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo discussed with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa ways to advance the peace process and the establishment of the Palestinian state, as well as the situation in the occupied territories, especially in the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, during a meeting in Brussels, Mustafa stressed the need for the international community to focus not only on stopping the aggression and ceasefire, but also on a political path that leads to ending the occupation, establishing the Palestinian state, and granting the Palestinian people their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.
For his part, De Croo reiterated his country's support for the ceasefire efforts and bringing relief aid to the Gaza Strip, stressing that the two-state solution is the only way to achieve peace in the Middle East.
