Blast Near Baghdad Kills One Member of Support Forces in Iraq

Baghdad: One member of the Support Forces in Iraq was killed and two others were wounded Tuesday in an explosion inside one of the forces' headquarters southeast of Baghdad.

According to Qatar News Agency, a security source reported that the blast occurred at a facility adjacent to a gas plant near the Basmaya residential city, southeast of Baghdad. The source highlighted that the incident was caused by the detonation of remnants of explosives left behind by the ISIS group. Essential measures were taken to secure the area and an investigation has been opened to obtain further information.
