Sofia: Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev discussed bilateral relations and regional developments with Jordan's King Abdullah II in Sofia Thursday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting addressed the situation in Gaza and the necessity to restore the ceasefire, resume the entry of humanitarian aid, and de-escalate the situation in the West Bank.
The Jordanian King emphasized the significance of Bulgaria hosting the Aqaba Meetings initiative in partnership with Jordan, given the challenges facing the world.
The Bulgarian President noted that the upcoming round of the Aqaba Meetings, hosted by Bulgaria, will cover key security topics, such as combating terrorism and extremism, which are of interest to both the Balkans and the Middle East. He also highlighted the depth of the partnership between the two countries in various strategic areas.
