Cairo: The 33rd Arab Music Festival opened at the Cairo Opera House, featuring 83 artists from across the Arab world and 41 performances over ten days. Egypt's Minister of Culture Dr. Ahmed Fouad Henno praised the diversity of musical styles to be presented.

According to Qatar News Agency, a parallel conference brings together 41 researchers from 15 countries to explore Arab music in the digital age. The conference spotlights "Arab music in light of the sweeping digital revolution," discussing themes such as the future of Arab music in the age of artificial intelligence, prospects for music education in light of technological advancements, documenting visions from the 1932 Cairo Conference to the digital revolution, and challenges of producing Arab music.

Festival highlights include a music competition with three awards and two Arabic calligraphy exhibitions. One exhibition is by Yousry El Mamlouk, while the other features emerging artists.
