The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 2,822 people have been killed and 12,937 have been injured since the start of the Israeli offensive in Lebanon in October 2023. In a statement, the ministry reported that the Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday, Oct. 29, had led to 30 fatalities and 165 injuries. Since October 2023, Lebanon has been under assault, but since the end of September 2024, Israel has stepped up the unprecedented aerial and artillery shelling to include Beirut, resulting in thousands of casualties and forcing a million people to flee their homes.
