Muscat: The Central Bank of Oman reported that the total issuance of Government Treasury Bills for this week amounted to RO 37.60 million.

According to Qatar News Agency, the value of the allotted Treasury bills for a 28-day maturity period was RO 5.4 million. The average accepted price was RO 99.708 for every RO 100, with the minimum accepted price at RO 99.705 per RO 100. The average discount rate was 3.80208%, and the average yield was 3.81322%.

For the 91-day maturity period, the allotted Treasury bills were valued at RO 32.2 million. The average accepted price reached RO 98.974 for every RO 100, with a minimum accepted price of RO 98.970 per RO 100. The average discount rate was 4.11438%, and the average yield was 4.15702%.

The statement from the Central Bank also mentioned that the interest rate on Repo operations with the CBO is 5.00%, while the discount rate on the Treasury Bills Discounting Facility with the CBO is 5.50%.
