CGB Signs Scope of Work with Firms, Institutions Participating in “Knowledge Transfer” Initiative

Doha: The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB) has signed a scope of work with several leading firms and institutions as part of the second "Knowledge Transfer" initiative, in the presence of HE President of CGB and Secretary-General of the National Planning Council, Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa. Pursuant to this scope of work, over 15 domestic and international firms and institutions will contribute to implementing this initiative.

According to Qatar News Agency, Director of the CGB's Public Administration Institute, Maha Masoud Al Marri, stated that the rapid transformations in workplaces require pursuing innovative training techniques, along with novel tools that the initiative reflects through forging strategic partnerships with major companies. The CGB not only seeks capacity-building but also aims to prepare staff to operate in a dynamic work environment that underpins continuous learning and openness to best practices, added Al Marri.

The companies underlined their commitment to providing a superb training environment that helps participants from the public entities internalize practical expertise through embarking on real and strategic projects. On the margins of the signing of this initiative, a detailed presentation of this initiative and its implementation mechanism were delivered, along with an introduction to the firms and institutions participating in it.

Overall, the initiative intends to enable national talents to upgrade their skills through working with international experts in advanced occupational environments, thereby enhancing their occupational preparedness and supporting sustainable development in the State of Qatar.
