Christian Pulisic scored in the 34th minute, while Dutchman Tijjani Reijnders added two goals in the 61st and 71st minutes. Club Brugge's only goal came from Kyriani Sabbe in the 51st minute. Club Brugge played with ten men from the 40th minute after their Nigerian player Raphael Onyedika was sent off.
