Amman, Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, and Major-General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Jordanian Armed Forces, co-chaired the 20th meeting of the joint Bahraini-Jordanian Higher Committee, held on November 8–9 in Jordan.
Al Nuaimi commended the efforts exerted to develop relations and affirmed the joint keenness to expand cooperation in various fields, especially in the military field, in implementation of the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of Jordan.
The meeting reviewed many topics and projects between the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) that would strengthen bilateral military cooperation.
The minutes of the twentieth joint Bahraini-Jordanian Higher Committee meeting were signed at the end of the meeting.
