Child Fatality and Injuries in Eastern Berlin Residential Fire

Berlin: A child was killed and two others were injured in a fire that broke out in a residential building in eastern Berlin, the German capital.

According to Qatar News Agency, the fire broke out last night in a 20-story building, resulting in the death of a child. Another child and a woman were found unconscious, their condition remains unclear.

Approximately 60 residents were able to evacuate, and around 170 firefighters were deployed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Last June, three people were killed and more than 50 others were injured in a fire at the Marienkrankenhaus hospital in Hamburg, Germany.
