Doha: China on Wednesday launched the Lijian-1 Y7 carrier rocket with six satellites onboard. The rocket took off from a commercial aerospace innovation pilot zone located in northwest China, successfully sending a group of satellites into their planned orbits. This event marks the seventh flight mission for the Lijian-1 carrier rocket series, underlining China's ongoing advancements in space technology. According to Qatar News Agency, China also launched a new communication satellite into orbit on Tuesday from the Wenchang Space Launch Site. Located on the coast of the southern island province of Hainan, this satellite has entered its preset orbit successfully. It is expected to provide voice, data, radio, and television transmission services, enhancing communication capacities. These launches highlight China's commitment to expanding its presence and capabilities in space exploration and communication technology.
