China launched Friday its first reusable experimental satellite, named Shijian-19, into space using a Long March-2D carrier rocket for the launch. The rocket took off at 6:30 pm (Beijing time) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, the Chinese news agency Xinhua reported. It pointed out that the Shijian-19 satellite has achieved a number of pioneering technological achievements, and will greatly enhance the technical level and application efficiency of China's reusable satellites. This is the 537th flight mission of the Long March series of carrier rockets. Source: Qatar News Agency
