Tunis: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hussein Ibrahim Taha, who is visiting China, on Monday discussed strengthening bilateral relations. The two sides also discussed a host of regional and international issues of common concern.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Chinese Foreign Minister expressed his country's readiness to work with the OIC and its member states to enhance mutual trust and support, deepen coordination, and expand cooperation. For his part, the OIC Secretary-General emphasized that the organization attaches particular importance to the deep historical ties that bind the Islamic world and China, expressing the OIC's desire to strengthen dialogue and cooperation in various fields.
