Astana: Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized the urgent need for all involved parties to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East and prevent any further escalation. This statement was made during the second China-Central Asia Summit held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
According to Qatar News Agency, President Xi expressed China's deep concerns over the sudden rise in tensions following Israel's military actions against Iran. He stressed that China opposes any actions that violate the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of nations. The Chinese President highlighted that military conflicts do not provide solutions to problems and that escalating regional tensions do not align with the interests of the global community.
Xi further stated that China is prepared to collaborate with all parties to contribute constructively to the restoration of peace and stability in the Middle East.
