CIPR Enhances Cooperation with Russia’s National Research University

Moscow: The Center for International Policy Research (CIPR) in Qatar has signed an agreement with Russia's Higher School of Economics (HSE) of the National Research University to enhance cooperation between the two sides across various fields. The agreement was signed by Adviser to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and CIPR Chairman, Dr. Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, and Rector of the HSE National Research University in Russia, Nikita Anisimov.

According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement aims to foster collaboration in conducting joint research in social and political sciences, exchanging academic expertise, organizing workshops and conferences, and strengthening mutual understanding regarding regional and international challenges. The signing took place on the sidelines of the CIPR's participation in a session titled "State Capacity and State Resilience in the Global South" at the 25th International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development in Moscow.

During the session, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari emphasized the strength and depth of relations between the State of Qatar and the Russian Federation, highlighting their mutual coordination amid current regional challenges. He also outlined the State of Qatar's efforts at both regional and international levels and its prominent role in numerous key issues, working closely with regional partners, especially Russia, which plays a distinctive role in sensitive regional matters.

For his part, Rector of the HSE National Research University in Russia, Nikita Anisimov, expressed his hope that the cooperation agreement with the CIPR in Qatar would further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the fields of science and education.
