Colombia’s President Leaves Doha

Doha: HE President of the Republic of Colombia Gustavo Petro left Doha on Monday, following a work visit to the country. His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure from Hamad International Airport by HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi and HE Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the State of Qatar Odette Yidi David.

According to Qatar News Agency, the visit marked an important engagement between Colombia and Qatar, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring potential areas of cooperation. The discussions held during the visit were centered on enhancing diplomatic and economic relations between the two nations. President Petro's visit is part of Colombia's broader strategy to engage with key international partners.
