Jerusalem: Colonists stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday, under the protection of the occupation police.

According to Qatar News Agency, the colonists entered Al-Aqsa in groups, conducting tours in its courtyard and performing Talmudic rituals, which were seen as provocative by local observers.

Local sources indicated that among those leading the intrusion was an extremist who heads an organization dedicated to the demolition of Al-Aqsa, with the intent to construct the alleged temple in its place.

The Israeli occupation police enforced stringent restrictions on worshippers attempting to enter Al-Aqsa, confiscating several identification documents at the mosque's entry points.
