Doha: HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani affirmed the ministry's commitment to supporting and developing the digital transformation ecosystem in the industrial and commercial sectors, and to encouraging the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, which would boost productivity and strengthen the competitiveness of national companies, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. This came during His Excellency's visit on Monday to the Web Summit Qatar 2026, held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.

According to Qatar News Agency, during his tour, His Excellency was briefed on the pavilions of participating national and international companies and on the latest innovations and advanced technological systems they are showcasing in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.

He also listened to explanations from company representatives on key digital solutions and practical applications, particularly in artificial intelligence, digital transformation of factories, and e-commerce.
