Commercial Bank’s Net Profit Drops by 27.3 Percent in 2025

Doha: The Commercial Bank, a Qatari public shareholding company, reported a net profit decline of 27.3 percent in 2025, reaching QAR 2.204 billion, compared to QAR 3.032 billion in 2024.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange's website on Sunday, the bank noted that the Earnings per Share (EPS) amounted to QAR 0.5 for the period ending Dec. 31, 2025, compared to QAR 0.71 for the same period in 2024.

The Commercial Bank Board of Directors has proposed a cash dividend distribution to shareholders of 30 percent of the nominal share value (QAR 0.30 per share) for the year 2025, subject to approval by Qatar Central Bank and the General Assembly.
