Community College of Qatar Celebrates Graduation of 860 Students with Empowerment Theme

Doha: The Community College of Qatar has marked a significant milestone with the graduation of 860 students, celebrating under the theme "Empowerment Creates Impact." Dr. Khalid Al Horr, in his congratulatory speech, emphasized the graduates' journey as tales of determination and ambition, aligning with the college's core value of empowerment as a catalyst for lasting impact.

According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Al Horr highlighted the college's evolution since its inception in 2010, becoming Qatar's largest national college with over 8,000 students enrolled in 18 academic programs. The college has established itself as a key player in advancing Qatar National Vision 2030, offering flexible and sustainable higher education. Strategic partnerships with government bodies and international universities further strengthen its role as a bridge between education and the labor market.

Dr. Al Horr proudly announced the college's achievement of full national institutional accreditation for five years, a first for a national higher education institution in Qatar. Several programs, such as Cybersecurity and Information Technology, have also earned international accreditation, reinforcing the college's commitment to academic excellence.

Addressing the graduates, Dr. Al Horr encouraged them to be ambassadors of the college, upholding ethics and integrity in their professional endeavors. Abdulmohsen Al Marri, representing the graduates, echoed the sentiment, describing the day as the start of a journey fueled by creativity and giving. He credited the college for empowering students with skills for problem-solving and leadership, preparing them to become thought leaders and innovators.

The graduating Class of 2025 comprises 860 students, with 299 males and 561 females, across three academic divisions. The Management Science Division graduated 620 students, the Liberal Arts Division 108 students, and the Science and Technology Division 132 students. A total of 319 students received bachelor's degrees, while 541 earned diplomas. Al Marri expressed gratitude to professors and family, acknowledging their support in reaching this academic milestone, and pledged the graduates' commitment to contributing to the nation's aspirations.
