Minister of Water Resources Hussein Makhlouf, met on Thursday evening , a delegation from the embassy of Czech Republic in Damascus at the Ministry building, and discussed the existing technical cooperation between the two sides, especially in the field of water purification plants. During the meeting, a cooperation protocol was signed between the General Establishment for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Damascus and the Czech side to implement two drinking water purification stations in Shebaa town and Douma in the Damascus countryside, with the implementation of a solar energy system for the Shebaa station,The ministry stated on its page on Facebook . The delegation included the Chargé d'Affaires of the Czech Embassy, Petr Kaciszka, Director of the Development Cooperation Department at the Embassy, Tomas Khlopcek, the Commercial and Economic Attaché, and a number of relevant technicians.
