Damascus, Cuban Embassy in Damascus called on the Arab Writers Union and all artists, thinkers, academics and social activists to support the open letter of writer and journalist Ignacio Ramonet addressed to US President Joe Biden, in which he refutes the US administration's accusations against Cuba and its re-inclusion on the list of state sponsors of terrorism. In his message, Ramonet emphasizes that Cuba is a true advocate of peace, health and education, and that this is completely opposite to terrorism, and that it has always denounced and fought terrorism. Ramonet points out that Cuba has been one of the countries most exposed to attacks by terrorist organizations, with more than 3,500 Cubans killed in attacks perpetrated by terrorist groups financed, armed and trained by organizations based in the United States.
