Riyadh, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the President of Customs, chaired the 9th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Customs Union Authority in Riyadh. The meeting reviewed the procedures for the formation of the union and the decisions of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee. It also discussed the outcomes of technical committees and specialised task forces, and the workshop on the unified GCC customs track in light of the GCC customs union. The meeting issued recommendations to implement decisions from the Financial and Economic Cooperation Council, complete a study on the Customs Union Authority's visual identity, and task technical committees with implementing the workshop outcomes.
