Doha: The death toll resulting from the Israeli occupation's ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 48,543 martyrs, in addition to 111,981 others being injured.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that Gaza's hospitals received 19 martyrs over the past 24 hours, including 12 that were retrieved from under the rubble while 7 others were killed in Israeli airstrikes.

The Ministry added that scores of bodies remain trapped under the rubble, with emergency and civil defense teams being unable of reaching them.

Despite the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel being in effect since January 19, the Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out sporadic strikes on and operations in the Gaza Strip, claiming the lives of dozens and leaving many others wounded.
