Gaza: The number of casualties resulting from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, ongoing since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 68,229 martyrs, in addition to 170,369 injuries.

According to Qatar News Agency, in the past 24 hours, Gaza hospitals have received 13 fatalities-seven of whom were killed in direct attacks by the occupation, and six whose bodies were recovered from beneath the rubble. An additional eight people were reported injured, the Gaza Ministry of Health said on Tuesday.

Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10, a total of 432 bodies have been recovered, while 165 bodies have been received from Israeli forces, the ministry noted, adding that many victims remain trapped under debris or in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense teams.

The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli occupation was reached in the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh and took effect on October 10.
