Gaza: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 71,562, in addition to 171,379 wounded.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that the sector's hospitals received 11 new bodies and 7 injuries during the past 48 hours. It was noted that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on Oct. 10 has increased to 477, with 1,301 injured.
The ministry highlighted the ongoing efforts to search for victims under the rubble of buildings destroyed by the occupation. This search has resulted in the recovery of 713 bodies. The ministry emphasized that thousands more bodies remain trapped among piles of concrete due to Israeli raids and artillery shelling.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity came into effect on Oct. 10. This followed the withdrawal of the occupation army from various sites and populated areas in the sector. The ceasefire initiated the return of displaced people to the northern part of the sector, marking the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war on Gaza.
