Gaza: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,667 martyrs, in addition to 171,434 wounded since Oct. 7, 2023.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported in a statement on Wednesday that the Strip's hospitals received 5 bodies during the past 24 hours, including one that was recovered, in addition to 6 injured people. A number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams face challenges in reaching them.
The ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Israeli entity was initiated in October. This followed the withdrawal of occupation forces from various sites and populated areas in the Strip. The ceasefire also marked the beginning of the return of displaced persons to the northern part of the Strip, as part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war on Gaza.
